MEET THE TEAM: Nicole

It’s time to introduce a new member of the FIT4MOM dream team - Nicole! 🎉

Nicole took her very first FIT4MOM class in 2018… and never looked back. She’s been part of our village for years, and we’re beyond excited to officially welcome her to the team as our Community Wellness & Outreach Coordinator!

With her degree in Nutrition & Dietetics and passion for fitness, we knew Nicole would be the perfect person to help us bring more education, resources, and support to moms.

In this role, Nicole will be helping us share wellness-focused content and helping spread the word about our programs and events in ways that truly reflect our mission and values.

___________

Who are you mom to?

Wyatt is 9 years old, Eve is 8 years old and Jack is 6 years old.

What do you remember about your very first FIT4MOM class before being on the team?

I remember my first class being hard getting two toddlers ready and content while I made time for myself. I was so inspired seeing so many other moms showing up and being in the same boat I was.

What’s a show, podcast, or book you’re obsessed with right now?

I am in between shows right now but I have been filling in time watching Gilmore Girls for the first time. I have been hooked on the Outlander TV show and I am anxiously awaiting the final season to air later this year.

You’re at your favorite coffee shop - what are you ordering?

I love the seasonal options Grounded and Peaceful Grounds offer.

What’s something most people don’t know about FIT4MOM that you wish they did?

There is so much more that comes with F4M than the workouts. You make so many new connections, learn new recommendations and feel seen while attending classes and events.

How do you stay motivated on days when you're feeling unmotivated?

I try to remind myself it is ok to take time for me and remember how much better I feel after leaving each class.

If you could only listen to one music genre for the rest of your life, what would it be?

That is a tough one, I rotate my music depending on my mood so either Country or Classic Rock.

Favorite way to unwind after a day of momming?

I like to curl up with a cozy blanket, grab a glass of tea or wine and read my book.

If you could give one piece of advice to your younger, pre-mom self, what would it be?

I would advise her to remember to breathe and enjoy the day in the moment.
