MEET THE TEAM: Kristyn

It’s time to introduce another member of the FIT4MOM dream team - Kristyn! 🎉

Kristyn first joined our village in 2018 as a member, and we’ve been lucky to have her as an instructor for almost a year now! (Her 1 year instructor-versary is next month!)

Whether she's leading Stroller Strides or Stroller Barre, she brings incredible energy and creativity to every class, making it a blast for both moms and their kiddos. Her enthusiasm and dedication shine through, and we are so grateful to have her on our team! 💪❤️

Join Kristyn for a class Tuesday & Wednesday mornings at 9:45am!

___________

Who are you mom to?

I am mom to Maddie (16), Mason (10), fur baby Poppy (7), and grandma to Mason’s bearded dragon, Norbert (2).

What do you remember about your very first FIT4MOM class before being on the team?

My neighbor brought me to Peace for a class called Body Back, which is now Body Boost. Not sure why but I didn’t have a yoga mat so I brought an American flag towel. lol! But I got hooked that first night!

What’s a show, podcast, or book you’re obsessed with right now?

I’ve been in to a book a friend gave me called The Dead Romantics. I haven’t been watching as many shows lately. Trying more podcasts but I really have been cleaning, donating, organizing, getting rid to just got our house in order.

You’re at your favorite coffee shop - what are you ordering?

I don’t drink coffee but I do enjoy going into coffee shops. My favorite from Starbucks is the medicine ball and I love Dunkin’ Donuts hot chocolate.

What’s something most people don’t know about FIT4MOM that you wish they did?

Something I wish people knew about FIT4MOM is that being part of this village has saved me on so many ways. I’d be lost without it!

How do you stay motivated on days when you're feeling unmotivated?

I stay motivated by MITs…Most Important Things. Making that list helps my physical and mental well being. And my family! Everything I do I do for Dale, Maddie and Mason. They are my world.

If you could only listen to one music genre for the rest of your life, what would it be?

One music genre for the rest of my life would be anything that speaks to me! I can relate to the song but also positive messages too. So maybe pop! I haven’t been listening to as much country lately.

Favorite way to unwind after a day of momming?

After a day of momming I like to cuddle up with Dale on the couch, read, take a shower or bath, go in our sauna, go for a walk, make sure I did some form of movement, I’ve been lighting more candles.

If you could give one piece of advice to your younger, pre-mom self, what would it be?

If I could give advice it would be take care of yourself first. Then you can take care of others. Make sure you get movement in every day. Surround yourself with positive people. Don’t take things for granted! And hold your spouses hand whenever you can. :) Take those dates!
