MEET THE TEAM: Jackie

It’s time to introduce a new member of the FIT4MOM dream team - Jackie! 🎉

Jackie’s FIT4MOM journey began back in 2016, and she’s been part of several amazing villages - from FIT4MOM Issaquah in Washington to FIT4MOM Palos/Orland & FIT4MOM Lemont, where she still teaches today! 🩷

Now, she’s also lending her heart and talents here in Frankfort - supporting our moms and bringing her passion for motherhood, movement, and community to our playgroups and more!

A certified instructor, Run Club+ coach, and mama of 4, Jackie embodies everything FIT4MOM stands for. We are SO lucky to have her as part of our village! 💪🫶

Come meet her and join her tomorrow (& every Wednesday) after Stroller Strides for playgroup!

___________

Who are you mom to?

Colin (9), Caleb (7), Hannah (3), & Holly (2)

What do you remember about your very first FIT4MOM class before being on the team?

Back in Issaquah, I remember it being a little chaotic with an 18 month old in a new town. After hearing all the other mom's complaining about their crazy mornings, it just felt like a huge relief to find a group of moms that were going through all the same things as I was, especially being new to the area.

What’s a show, podcast, or book you’re obsessed with right now?

Abby Jimenez's Part of your World series & Handmaid Tales

You’re at your favorite coffee shop - what are you ordering?

Matcha Latte

What’s something most people don’t know about FIT4MOM that you wish they did?

That you don't have to have stroller age kids to join!! We have mom's with much older kids part of our village.

How do you stay motivated on days when you're feeling unmotivated?

My kids have all grown up going to Stroller Strides and after a few days they're begging to go back to workout. It's usually my sign that I need a good workout to pull me out of my funk.

If you could only listen to one music genre for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Classical, instrumental, pop like Lindsey Sterling.

Favorite way to unwind after a day of momming?

Playing video games by myself in the quiet 🎮

If you could give one piece of advice to your younger, pre-mom self, what would it be?

Set big realistic goals, then break them down into smaller goals or else you'll burn out before you get to the finish line.
